Biography

I am a GIS Expert, trainer, and geospatial professional with experience in mapping, spatial analysis, forest management, and wildlife conservation applications. He has worked as a Junior Project Fellow at NCERT, a GIS Engineer at Orbit Geospatial Services, and currently serves as Faculty and GIS Expert at Chandrapur Forest Academy.

With academic specialization in Applied Geography and Geoinformatics, Gururaj has worked on projects involving georeferencing, cadastral mapping, satellite data interpretation, educational GIS development, and forest-related spatial analysis. His training approach focuses on practical learning, helping students understand GIS through real-world mapping exercises instead of only theoretical concepts.

Through this course, he aims to make QGIS simple, practical, and career-oriented for beginners, students, researchers, and professionals who want to build strong GIS and mapping skills from the ground up.
